In addition Raelene counsels individuals and couples facing sexual problems that include low sexual desire, low sexual arousal, erectile dysfunction, premature ejaculation, delayed ejaculation, inability to orgasm and vaginismus to name a few. Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, psychotherapy and Emotionally Focused Therapy are commonly used in the therapeutic process along with Sensate Focus and Sex exercises in the comforts of your home.
Sex is one of the most intimate and pleasurable of all human experiences. However, if you are experiencing sexual problems then sex can become an arena where many of the problems in the relationship surface. If you are in such an arena of sexual difficulty you are not alone. Even the most committed relationships have problems at some time or another over sexual issues. Raelene Stokes provides sex therapy to both individuals’ and couples to enable them to enjoy a satisfying, pleasurable and fun sex life! Raelene’s knowledge and skills in the field of both counselling and sexology is formidable, with a clinical practice that serves the whole of WA and other states from face to face counselling or for those living in regional or out of WA via Skype or telephone counselling.
For most couples falling in love is one of the most intense and pleasurable experiences they will ever have. However, neither the mind nor the body can continue this intense state forever. People eventually must come down from this natural “high”, and this typically occurs somewhere between three to eighteen months into the relationship. Then What?
- Grief and loss
- Abuse and trauma
- Depression and anxiety
- Communication skills
- Conflict resolution
- Personal growth and other issues
Public Speaking/Training and Education Workshops
Raelene is available for public speaking or group education workshops and events for both the public and organisations, as well as for leading workshops and classes around sexual health and or relationship issues. Raelene runs sexuality training workshops through Impotence Australia for all health professionals and students in the field and provides supervision for therapists in sex therapy and couples counselling.
